Both the main house and the double garage were showing their age, so we set out to give them a transformation they’d love coming home to.
Project overview
We removed all the old timber windows and replaced them with anthracite UPVC Kommerling 70 profiles. These high‑performance windows offer a U‑value of 1.2 W/(m²K), meaning better warmth, lower bills, and a quieter, more comfortable home.
The original timber front door made way for a stunning Solidor Milano composite door with a satin‑glazed side panel—instantly updating the entrance with style and security.
Next, we tackled the roofline. The tired timber soffits and fascias were swapped for anthracite UPVC boards, complete with a triple‑clad soffit and improved ventilation to protect the home for the long term. New guttering and downpipes tied everything together.
