Home: Welcome

This was a major transformation project from start to finish. The client had recently purchased a 1940s property at auction, full of character and packed with potential. Working closely with our in‑house architect, we began mapping out a complete renovation and extension that would modernise the home while dramatically increasing its usable space.

The original property had no central heating, so the first step was installing a new gas connection. This enabled us to fit a full central heating system, including underfloor heating on the ground floor. Alongside this, the entire house underwent a complete electrical rewire to meet current regulations, followed by full re‑plastering and redecoration throughout.

Structural alterations were carried out to open up the internal layout, with large supporting steels installed to prepare the home for the next phase of expansion.

Project overview

A substantial blockwork extension was constructed, almost doubling the home's living space. The new layout introduced:

• A spacious kitchen

• A dedicated utility room

• A downstairs WC

• A new master bedroom with en‑suite on the first floor

To unify the old and new elements, a monocouche render system was applied across the entire exterior, giving the property a clean, contemporary finish.

Residence 7 windows were installed throughout, adding to the home’s modern aesthetic and enhancing energy efficiency.
